Birkenau Concentration Camp tour

We would like to offer you another option of Auschwitz tour from Krakow – Birkenau Concentration Camp tour. It includes a visit in only one part of Auschwitz camp complex.

What’s the difference between Birkenau Concentration Camp and Auschwitz? In fact, many people do not realize that it’s not the same place. Auschwitz I is a parental camp, the first one. At the beginning it was only a camp far war and political prisoners. In the course of time, the place turned into concentration and extermination cam. It was also expanding very fast. That’s why the other part of the camp were created. One of them was Birkenau concentration camp. It’s also called Auschwitz II.

Our Birkenau concentration camp tour is intended to those who would like to better familiarize with this part of the camp complex. While during the regular Auschwitz tour, you have only around 1 hour in Birkenau concentration camp, our option allows you to spend there 2,5 hour. Considering an extensive area of Birkenau concentration camp, 1 hour it’s definitely not enough. There are many objects and spots worth seeing and learning about.
